One of the great things that happen every year in Long Beach is the TED Conference. It is typically held in February, at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center (Terrace Theater) on Ocean Blvd at Long Beach Blvd. TED relocated here just two years ago, from its original home in Palm Springs.

TED stands for Technology Entertainment Design, and was stared in 1984.

TED attracts big thinkers, passionate workers, investors, and the famous. Although the Conference is small, by invitation, and relatively expensive, you can watch many of the talks on their website. Eventually, most of the content gets published on the site, and it is all inspiring.
